After the rush the day before, we enjoyed a leisurely morning in Dalian. We took the free shuttle to the classy Friendship department store near the main square. We had a leisurely walk around Zhongshan Square, looking at the early 20th century buildings built by the Japanese and Russians.

We walked to Russia Street where the shops have Russian and Chinese signs and the buildings are Old Russia in flavour. Shops feature Russian nesting dolls! Then back through some other shopping streets to catch the noon shuttle bus back to the ship.
