We visited Avignon on two occasions - the first time, we got rained out! It absolutely poured (see the “waterfall” photo!) We visited the papal palace and the famous bridge and then headed home to dry out. We spent our last day in Avignon too - a lovely sunny day so we wandered the city streets and visited the lookout (Rochers des Doms).
