This ancient feast in honour of St. Tulle was revived after a plague in the 1720’s. The men of the village cut down a poplar tree and parade it through the village. A child who has recently made his First Communion rides it. We had not anticipated just how big the tree would be. Getting it around the narrow streets of the village required quite a lot of manoeuvring. The little child looked a little nervous! The festivities included a funfair by the etang.
